Mileage clarification

We would also like to be completely transparent regarding the mileage. The car's actual current mileage is 71,230 miles. At a previous MOT, the tester mistakenly recorded the mileage as 78,000 miles when the car was actually showing around 70,000 miles.
The reason for this appears to be the design of the Renault dashboard, where the zeros have a diagonal line through them, which can make them look very similar to an 8 when reading the display. This has resulted in the mileage being incorrectly recorded on the MOT history, and is also the reason we have advertised the car at 79,000 miles to reflect the discrepancy rather than hide it.

We feel it is important to be completely upfront about this, and the car's actual mileage can be seen directly on the dashboard.

The car has also recently benefited from new track rod ends and a full wheel alignment/tracking, while the alloy wheels have just been freshly refurbished. New centre caps have also been purchased and are currently in the post, ready to be fitted to complete the fresh look of the wheels.

For an 18-year-old car, we would class this Clio as being in stunning condition. Of course, it is not a brand-new car and it does have some small age-related imperfections, as you would expect, but overall the condition is exceptional for its age. There are plenty of cars five years old that aren't in the condition this Clio is in.
